 Information of employment

Age 14 to 16: From the age of  fourteen to sixteen,  I had my own small business completing work such as cutting grass, cleaning windows and cars etc, dog walking and other odd jobs.  In order to set this up, I had to create a leaflet advertising myself and posted it around the area where I was living.

August 2007 to February 2008, I worked as a general laborer until I was laid off.

September 2008 to may 2009, I worked at the local Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant as the hours fitted around my study. I mainly served customers, Dealt with orders, queries and sometimes complaints, as well as cleaning and cooking. Although I enjoyed being around people and dealing with customer, I did not enjoy working in the fast food industry. However, I had made a commitment, so I stayed until I needed to my collage practical work in may 2009.

August 2009 to October 2012, For the past three summers, I have worked along side my father learning how to effectively and efficiently clean windows, gutters and siding. The company uses Gardiner Super-Light pole systems but I have also been trained on a Gardiner CLX 27 pole. On the lower level and/or balcony windows we use a squeegee and I am experienced in the fanning technique so there are no marks left on the windows I clean.

October 2009 to April 2010(Volunteer), I carried on the interest in agriculture alongside doing my National diploma in agriculture by volunteering at a local farm to gain experience and learn different ways to do things in the practical field rather than in an educational setting. (Livestock work, tractor work and general maintenance)

Late 2010 Carrying on till today - contract farm hand. This has been mainly Lambing with some machine work alongside. Some of the work I've carried out includes dosing, rearing, Feeding and general farm maintenance.

June 2011 Carrying on till today  - Paintball marshal (Game runner) for delta force paint balling. The main part of my job as a marshal is to control groups of children/adults to make sure they have a same and enjoyable day. The main part of the work is always working along side the public, Being constantly aware of everything that is happening within my group and being able to make decisions quickly to over come any chance of injury or accidents that may become problematic.
